Loved everything about Tactile Communications - especially being immersed in DB culture and interacting with DB instructors directly without the use for interpreters. They taught me so much about what I believe should be the gold standard of tactile communications. Their philosophy of ‘touch’ teaches deaf-blind individuals how to be independent which in turn infuses tremendous self-confidence in DB individuals. What truly impressed me about TC is their hands-on training curriculum which required participants to go outside of the classroom and independently navigate and interact with their physical and social environments.
